This page lists every cookie Hardpost sets and what each one does. The short version: we only use cookies that the service needs to work, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Essential cookies

These cookies keep Hardpost working and secure. The service cannot run without them.

CookieWhat it doesHow long it lasts
ac_sessionKeeps you signed in. It is HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read it.30 days
ac_gstateProtects Google sign in from forgery while you sign in with Google.10 minutes
ac_gnextRemembers which page to open after Google sign in, for example the phone app. Set only when you sign in with Google.10 minutes

Browser storage

Hardpost also uses your browser's local storage to remember small preferences on your device, such as your last caption style, your accent color and tips you have dismissed. This data stays in your browser. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings, and Hardpost will simply go back to its defaults.

No advertising or tracking cookies

We do not use advertising cookies or cross site tracking cookies, and we do not let advertisers set cookies through Hardpost. Because we only use essential cookies, we do not show a cookie banner.

Fonts from Google

Our marketing site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When the fonts load, Google may receive your IP address, as it does for any website that uses its fonts. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add analytics or any other kind of cookie, we will update this page and our Privacy Policy first. This policy takes effect on October 7, 2026.
